Assafuahonline has intercepted the official Jubilee House letter notifying the embattled Chief Justice of her removal from office in accordance with the recommendations of the Pwamang Commission report.
Contrary to earlier opined legal commentary, the warrant for removal from office axes Mrs Torkonoo both from her role as Chief Justice and as Justice of the Supreme Court. The letter signed by the President’s Executive Secretary also referenced parts of the Pwamang report.
It would appear that the matter of the former Chief Justice’s travel with her family and her reassignment of a Mr Baiden, as part of the performance of her administrative duties was construed by the Commission of Enquiry as stated misbehaviour. Find the letter attached below:
