This year’s Annual Yam Festival for 2026 is set to be celebrated in a very Grand Style by the Chiefs , elders and people of Akoanso in the Anomabu Traditional Area of the Mfantseman municipality of the central region.
The ceremony which is coming on the 22nd August , 2026 at the Akoanso Chiefs Palace is set to attract family members of the Anona Royal Family with the able leadership of Her Royal Nana Sakyi ( VIII ) supported by the Anona Ebusua Obaatan and the elders is calling on all indigens and the general public to join in the Akoanso 2026 Yam Festival ( EGUADOTO ) to support and witness a traditional cultural ceremony.
