Kumasi Mayor complains bitterly over rising number of prostitutes in the city

The mayor of Kumasi, Richard Kwasi Ofori Boadi Agyemang, has complained bitterly about the rising number of brothels in Kumasi.

The leading places he mentions where the situation is worrying include Ahodwo and Adum, and other places located in the city.

He says the worrying situation will be addressed as it poses a serious threat to the city.

“There is a growing presence of prostitution in Ahodwo, Adum, and other locations in the city. We will take action to address the situation very soon,” he said while addressing the press.

He used the opportunity to call on the media to support the work his office is doing to ensure that Kumasi is safe and hygienic.

“Since I was appointed, the media has been of immense help in driving the change that we look for. Even with some of our actions taken to make the city look good, the media has helped the people to come to understand that we want the best for them. So we call on you to continue the good work and lets help make Kumasi better”.
