Top Nigerian Evangelist, Dr Paul Enenche Praised for Rejecting N30 Million Cash Gift from Kebi Governor; “Give that to Orphanage”, He says
The Senior Pastor and Founder of The Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, Nigeria has received praises on social media for a gesture he displayed during a large Evangelical Crusade held in Kebi State.
In a video circulating online, a representative of the Kebi State Governor was seen handing over a big envelope, which he described as a cash gift of N30 Million from the State Governor to support the Pastor’s evangelical ministry.
However in a swift reaction, mostly triggered by the wife of the pastor, Dr Mrs Becky Enenche, the preacher affirmed that the cash gift cannot be accepted and that instead, it should be donated to a charity of the Governor’s choosing.
For a country in which there the Christian mission has been infiltrated by the love of wealth and personal glory, where several pastors continually enrich themselves off their church members and through unholy relationships with corrupt politicians, Dr Enenche’s gracious act has been deemed worthy of example.
