Mpraeso MP -Hon. Davis Ansah Opoku Extends Educational Support to 1,363 BECE Candidates in Mpraeso
The Member of Parliament for Mpraeso, Davis Ansah Opoku, has reaffirmed his commitment to education by interacting with Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the Praso and Atuobikrom communities within the Mpraeso Constituency.
During the engagement, the MP urged the candidates to remain confident and give their best effort, emphasizing that their future success hinges on the dedication and discipline they demonstrate in their upcoming examinations.
As part of his educational support initiative, the MP distributed mathematics sets to all 1,363 BECE candidates in the constituency to ensure no student is disadvantaged during the exams.
He also announced a performance-based reward scheme aimed at motivating excellence. This includes GH¢700 each for the 50 top-performing students, GH¢700 each for students with disabilities who perform excellently, a full chop box of provisions for candidates who obtain aggregates between 6 and 10, and a personal visit to outstanding students in their schools.
Mr Opoku reiterated that education is the most powerful tool for transformation, and that continued investment in the youth is essential for building a brighter future for the Mpraeso Constituency.
