A Call to All Patriots: Step Forward and Serve- Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah

Fellow NPP faithfuls,

Our party’s strength has always been rooted in one simple principle: every member has a right to contest and serve. From the polling station to the electoral area, from the constituency to the regional level, the door is open to you.

So I encourage you: Stand up. Pick up a form. Offer yourself.

NPP belongs to all of us. We grow stronger when fresh ideas, new energy, and diverse voices come forward at every level. If you have the passion to serve your community, the vision to move your constituency, or the courage to lead your region, this is your moment. Don’t wait to be tapped. Don’t assume someone else will do it. The future of our great tradition is built by those who dare to contest.

At the same time, let us protect the dignity of our internal contests. I admonish all party faithful: let’s end the culture of mentioning names and pushing “promoters.” Our delegates are discerning. Our members are wise. Campaigns should be about competence, loyalty, and vision for NPP, not who is behind which candidate.

When we stop reducing contests to camps and promoters, we elevate the process. We give every aspirant a fair chance. We reduce tension, avoid needless division, and keep the focus where it belongs: on building a stronger NPP to win elections 2028 and beyond.

So to every card-bearing member:
– If you can lead, contest. Don’t sit on the sidelines.
– If you support, do so with decorum. Sell your candidate on merit, not by tearing others down.
– If we compete, let’s unite afterward. Because after the last ballot is counted, we remain one NPP.

The polling station executive today can be the regional chairman tomorrow. The coordinator you elect now shapes the constituency we win in 2028.

Arise, NPP. The party needs you. Ghana needs us.

Kukrudu! Esie!
Let’s build together.
