Full Speech: Hon Ekow Vincent Assafuah Donates Learning Materials to Schools in his constituency

Distinguished Guests, Chiefs and Elders, Municipal Coordinating Director, Municipal Education Director, Headteachers, Teachers, Students, Members of the Media, Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is with great joy and a deep sense of duty that I stand before you today as we embark on this remarkable initiative—an effort to empower our young ones with the tools they need to excel. Today, through the Ekow Assafuah Foundation, in collaboration with Assafuah Radio 92.7, we are donating 20,000 exercise books and 1,000 tables and chairs to support students within the Old Tafo Municipal area.

Education is the foundation of progress. It is the most powerful weapon we can use to change our community, and as leaders, we must ensure that no child is left behind due to a lack of learning materials or a conducive learning environment. That is why this initiative is not just about handing out books and furniture—it is about investing in the future of Tafo, the Ashanti Region, and Ghana as a whole.

I have always been committed to championing the cause of education. This donation is a continuation of our efforts to bridge the gap in educational resources, ensuring that students, regardless of their background, have access to the tools they need to succeed.

To our dear students, education is your passport to a brighter future. Use these materials wisely. Read, learn, and work hard, for you are the future leaders of our nation. To our headteachers and teachers, I commend you for your tireless dedication. Your role in shaping the next generation is invaluable, and we must all work together to support these young minds.

Finally, I extend my gratitude to the volunteers, partners, and well-wishers who have supported this cause. Your contributions and commitment to education are truly commendable.

Together, let us shape the future—one student at a time, one classroom at a time, one school at a time!

God bless Old Tafo!

God bless the Ashanti Region!

God bless Ghana!
