Suame Fire Outbreak: MPs in Ashanti Region visit to assess the devastating impact
Members of Parliament in the Ashanti Region have visited Suame to ascertain the extent of damage caused to the area after a recent fire outbreak.
The Members of Parliament belonging to the Minority side in Parliament used the opportunity to assure traders who lost their wares to the fire of their support in these trying times.
The MPs while addressing traders who have lost millions said there will need a concerted effort to ensure that Kumasi is developed.
They assured them of their support in these trying times.

Speaking on the visit, Asenso Boakye who represents the people of Bantama said “Today, together with my colleague Members of Parliament from Kumasi, we visited Suame Magazine to assess the devastating impact of the recent fires. We stand in solidarity with the affected traders and artisans and are committed to advocating for stronger fire prevention measures, improved infrastructure, and long-term support for those impacted.
